Sunny Sunday

It is mid afternoon on this lazy Sunday of cooling winds and sunshine. I did a lot this morning and I decided to give myself one hour to chill and check email. This morning I got up at 7 and walked several miles. I ate whole wheat chocolate chip pancakes (SO YUM) and then got right to work in my backyard. I cleaned 80 percent of my screened in deck and can now relax out there with friends and will soon hook up a TV dvd system too. The stereo is set already so I’m itching for a BBQ with some friends. August sounds good!

Despite saying I wasn’t shopping anymore I still bought an electric razor and season four of Queer as Folk. I will be done shopping at least until Friday (pay day).

Another of my Dad’s fish popped up and we have a confirmed four and they looked like they were having fun chasing after each other. Tootie and I sat on the backyard grass and watched them for a short time. The new lawn in back looks and feels great. I forgot how relaxing a Sunday afternoon is with a cool wind tickling the hairs on your legs and your toes crunch the blades of grass in between them. A crisp lemonade and I am set.

Later I’m walking another 5 miles and talking to Danny. I want to establish our writing companies. We discussed having three; one totally his, one totally mine and the last for our dual projects. I know I always wanted an indie film label of my own and my own printing company. The only printing publishing’s Danny seems into is our comic lines. The comic line already has a name and may also be our joint film and T.V. projects name. It’s all so confusing in my opinion and maybe it is good we talk about it today. Flesh it out more and see if one is needed or just all three. When we do separate projects it’s the individual label and when it’s both the mutual one. That makes sense.

Well tomorrow starts off a four day work week. I’m not too upset and know the week will go by quick. I’m looking forward to Friday and another long productive day.
